This picture was taken just days after Punk Poet Garry Johnson was released from Basildon Hospital...but as you can see being in a coma and on a life support machine had taken its toll on the Beat Street Poet...many thought it would be the last picture...but 12 months on - January 2015 - he is still alive and kicking - living up to the name he was given by the wonderful Nurses at Basildon who called him a "Christmas Miracle" for twice coming back from the dead...the Doctors told his sons "your Dad is a fighter - he shouldnt be here - but somehow he is" - this was after telling both boys at midnight "your Dad might not be with us at 8am" - well he survived and as the picture taken today for the cover of his official autobiography he is doing alright...
